This is what the LORD says:– Jeremiah 6:16
"Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.”
Our goal is to connect with Christ, Christians, and the Community. We call this C3. CROSSROADS provides an environment where college and young adults are empowered by God, engage one another in genuine spiritual discussion, and truly believe they can change their world.
Our heart’s desire is "Engage the Culture to Reach the Culture". We want to equip both College and Young Adults to engage the culture and consume the world around us with a passion for God.
Join a gathering of young adults just like yourself from all over the Pensacola area at CROSSROADS. Our College and Single Young Adult Ministry (called CROSSROADS) shatters the stereotype that Church is boring. Our programs are created to celebrate life in a way that is fun for believers and welcoming to those who don’t normally go to Church. We offer an experience that allows you to worship God in such a way that makes it easy to invite your friends. Join us every Wednesday Night at 8:00pm! CROSSROADS is the place to be for single young adults in the surrounding Pensacola area!
Throughout the year we connect with both College and Single Young Adults through small groups, retreats, conferences, hanging out at Starbucks, ski trips, and more.
For more information on Crossroads or any other activity related to young adults ages 18-29, e-mail Brandon at email@example.com.
CROSSROADS is our worship service for Collegiate and Single Young Adults (18-29). Every Wednesday night at 8:00pm we meet in the Chapel. Enjoy games, free food, a live band, relevant topics, and plenty of people to discuss life issues and find purpose for your life.
CORE - This college-age Bible Study meets on Sundays at 8:00am in room 5107. Come and enjoy some early morning food, fellowship and an in-depth discussion in God’s Word.
RUSH - If you prefer a to sleep in, RUSH meets on Sundays at 9:30am in room 5103/5105 (the Chapel) for collegiate students. This is a time when students can come and enjoy food, fellowship and connect with other students as we discuss relevant topics from God’s Word.
Community Outreach gives you a chance to express yourself, connect safely with other Christians, and unite with a purpose to engage the Pensacola area. We want to transform our area by engaging the people around us with an active love of Jesus Christ.
We believe that God is looking for adults who are passionate about glorifying His name. We accomplish this by serving the community through providing food, water, construction work, and much more.
We desire to live out Matthew 25:37-40 which expresses, “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’”
We believe that Christ has graced everybody who has accepted His free gift of salvation with a spiritual gift to serve Him more. 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 teaches us that we are uniquely gifted to work together physically just as symbolically our body works with ears, hands, eyes, etc. 1 Corinthians 12:27 affirms, “You are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
If you’ve ever wondered how to get involved at Olive Baptist Church or desired to use your spiritual gifts better, then check out what’s going on. We’ve created a simple process for you. Go to view our Volunteer page and find an area that fits you!
We encourage our college and single young adults to have at least one cross-cultural ministry experience during this stage of their life. We trust that God will use this experience to transform your view of Jesus Christ and build compassion for those of a different culture.
The college and single young adult ministry has focused its efforts by sending short-term trips specifically for this age group. We also have many other trips throughout the year through our Church’s mission department.
