Music Office Assistant
Sharon began serving in Olive’s music ministry in 1996 as our music librarian and children’s choir assistant. Since then she has served in many support roles during times of transition on other ministry teams here at Olive. Those teams include media, administration, publications, and IT.
In 2011 Sharon returned to the music ministry as an office assistant. She is also responsible for IMAG (image magnification) and for managing the church calendar.

Tom Savage was born and raised in Salisbury, Maryland. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from Salisbury State University in 1988. He holds a Master of Arts Degree in Music Performance from Pensacola Christian College.
Since 2003, Tom serves on the staff of Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola as the Director of Instrumental Music Ministries and the School of Performing Arts. At Olive, he conducts the Celebration Orchestra, the Ma-jazz-tics Big Band, and many small instrumental ensembles throughout the year. He also serves as the Administrator for Olive's School of Performing Arts and teaches private music lessons.

Rebekah grew up at Olive and has been a member of the music ministry for most of her life; starting as a member of children’s choir and then as one of the founding members of the orchestra in 1981. She received a BA degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Florida. Rebekah plays both piano and flute and she is still an active member of the Celebration Orchestra at Olive as well as a member of the Pensacola Civic Band. She and her husband, Scott, have four sons: Stephen, Mark, Luke and Andrew.
John Barbaric was formerly an actor/director for Dramatics for Christ, a full-time drama ministry that worked the Bible-Belt southern states in the 70’s and 80’s. Among the 75 different characters he portrayed, two of his favorite characters are Ebenezer Scrooge and Blind Bartimeus. John has been drama director for Olive since 1992 and joined the staff in 2004.
