![]() Jon DuBois serves as the Minister of Pastoral Ministries. He and his family moved here from the Tampa Bay area in 2001. Jon is married to Beth who teaches school in Escambia County. They have two children, Haley & Jared. Olive Baptist Church’s Pastoral Ministries office is a multi-dimensional area. Our foundation is to be a lighthouse to our community, state and world to share with those who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal savior. We offer visits, comfort, prayer, encouragement, support and training. Olive’s Deacon Ministry and Widow Ministry are part of our structure, building on service, dedication and determination. Our deacons serve their church family in many capacities and those in the community with a love of the Lord. Widows, through a newly organized program, help each other to grieve, cope, and become a part of a close group. As part of the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, our office serves as an extension center. Each week men and women from surrounding cities come to Olive to study diligently toward their Masters of Divinity degree. As they learn Greek and Hebrew and study the Bible, they are each following their calling from the Lord. We are here to minister to you.
