ACCESSIBILITY

Guided by the Lord, we aspire to create a place where every person, regardless of their challenges, finds acceptance, purpose, and the love of Jesus. Through support, educational resources, and connections, we want everyone to participate in the life of our church.

Pensacola Campus Accommodations

  • We have handicap parking located at every entrance including ramps to the sidewalk.

We have three elevators around the church. The reference map on the website can give you precise locations here.

  • In the Sanctuary, we have an area for our deaf ministry. Deaf services are provided at the 9:30AM service time. Sitting together as a deaf ministry creates a sense of community and mutual support among individuals who share similar communication needs and experiences.

This placement ensures better visibility of the interpreter and the speaker.

If you are hard of hearing and need assistance in hearing the service, we also have an app called Wavecast. Wavecast allows you to listen to services via your cellphone and ultimately your hearing assist devices. Look below for more details.

  • We have clear backpacks called sensory bags for you. In these bags there are a variety of objects that help with any sort of processing struggles.

You can find these backpacks at the Guest Services desks, and the front desks of Kids, Middle School, and High School Ministry. We also have one in the security office. Here are the items included in the sensory bags:

    • Noise cancelling headphones

    • Ear plugs

    • Fidgets

    • Weighted Blankets

We ask that if you need any items out of these backpacks that you return them to the original bag. If you need the whole bag, just return it to its home spot.

  • We are currently accepting grades ranging from Preschool to Highschool in our Special Needs Ministry located in the ROC by the Blue Room. These rooms are designed to meet the educational and developmental needs of students with disabilities in a specialized setting. While teaching the love of Jesus, in these classrooms students can work on self-regulation skills, social difficulties, and communication while using adaptive equipment and assistive technology.

Alongside the special needs classroom, we have a sensory room. This room is important for our students that need a controlled environment that promotes regulation, relaxation, and sensory exploration. Students that are feeling overwhelmed, over stimulated or just need some time to chill, can use this room to their advantage.

  • Guests are welcome to nurse or bottle feed their children. There is a designated space located in the Preschool Ministry for you.

We are always finding new ways to be accessible, check back for updates.
