Throw on your camera strap and buckle your seatbelt as we head out  In The Wild™! VBS 2019 takes you on a wild adventure with elephants and egrets, polar bears and penguins, cockatoos and crocodiles. As you seek out exotic animals, you’ll also find snapshots of real-life encounters with Jesus in Scripture. Kids go from bewildered to believing as they get In The Wild at this summer’s VBS.

Connection Groups - Sundays

We offer Connection Groups for children K5 through fifth grade with curriculum tailored to your child's age. They will spend time learning the Bible through teaching and activities in a fun small group environment.

Kings Kids - Sundays

King's Kids is a program tailored for our five year olds that teaches them how to worship the Lord. Volunteers escort children from their Connection Groups to our King's Kids room. This time is filled with activities that teach God's love in a way they can understand.

 

Special Needs - Sundays

Our Special Needs Ministry provides an appropriate and supportive environment for the individual impacted by a disability or special needs, while other family members attend Worship Service, Connection Groups, or serve in the church.

AWANA - Wednesdays
6:00-7:30pm | Upstairs Simmons Building

Awana is a discipleship program for boys and girls, K-5 through 5th grade. Your child will memorize scripture, spend time in worship, and play games in the ROC.

Sparks (K5 - 2nd Grade)

The aim of the curriculum is to take youngsters a step deeper into God's Word while giving unsaved boys and girls regular opportunities to hear the Gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ.

T-n-T (3rd - 5th Grade)

The name Truth & Training reflects the passion of Awana to teach third through fifth grade boys and girls the truth of God’s Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. Our goal is that many of today’s young people will become tomorrow’s church leaders. T&T is the program that trains the leaders of tomorrow — today.

Kids On Mission

Kids on Mission is our summer Wednesday evenings program. Children will learn about Southern Baptist Missions around the world and the mission activities that Olive Baptist Church is doing in our city. Kids on Mission is a hands on experience with visits to numerous ministry loca ons on our campus. Children will also get to connect with other children in outdoor recrea on activities.
