TED TRAYLOR • PASTOR
Dr. Ted Traylor serves as pastor of Olive Baptist Church. His bold and practical preaching brings people to a fresh understanding of God's Word and challenges them to become bondservants for Christ.
He is known for his uncompromising stand on Biblical issues and strong defense of the Christian faith. He is a graduate of Samford University (B.A.) and Southwestern Seminary (M.Div.) and (D.Min.). In addition to serving as First Vice-President of the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000 and President of the Florida Baptist Convention in 1995, Dr. Traylor served as President of the Southern Baptist Convention’s 2004 Pastors’ Conference.
He has preached extensively throughout the United States in conferences and revivals. Dr. Traylor is the author of The Eight Callings of God, A Compass, a Map and a Passport: God’s Provisions for Life’s Journey and What Is a Southern Baptist? Key Denominational Distinctives.
He and his wife, Liz, have two children, Rachel and Bennett, and are the proud grandparents to Kathryn and Elizabeth. On Saturdays, you will find Pastor Traylor cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide, playing golf, or spending time with his family.

JON TYNER • MINISTER OF MUSIC
Jon Tyner serves as our Minister of Music. His role includes leading worship at the Main Campus, directing the Olive Choir, producing and directing special events throughout the year, and giving overall leadership to the entire Music & Worship Ministry. Jon and his wife Angie live in Pace with their three sons, Jack, Ben, and Eli. In his spare time, he enjoys training and racing in triathlons, as well as watching sports. After receiving his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music in Choral Conducting from The University of Southern Mississippi, as well as serving as the Worship Pastor at a church in Tennessee, Jon is thankful to be serving with our Pastor and the team at Olive. He believes it is a church that loves Jesus and has a sincere heart to love one another and reach people with the Gospel.
JON HUFF • MINISTER OF EDUCATION
Jon Huff serves as the Minister of Education. Jon and his wife Becky have two children, Nolan and Lilly Grace. To unwind, Jon enjoys outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, diving, golf, and basketball. Jon previously served as the Dean of Students at Aletheia Christian Academy. Jon made his way to this role at Olive after having grown up as a member and serving as a deacon. Jon says it is a pure joy to serve Olive’s church family after growing up under Pastor Traylor’s leadership and the community of godly men following after Jesus.
JOHN LOWE • CAMPUS PASTOR AT WARRINGTON
John Lowe serves as the Pastor of Warrington Campus. John finds the fellowship among believers and seeing people mature in their faith invigorating. John and his wife Bobbi have two children, Tyler and Madi, who are both in college. In his spare time, John enjoys grilling, yard work, and spending time in his ENO hammock.
DAN BEARD • EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION
Dan Beard serves as the Executive Director of Administration. As part of his responsibilities, he oversees financial operations, security, and new building construction. Dan and his wife Traci have two daughters. In his spare time, Dan enjoys golfing and hunting, but mostly spending time with his family.
BOBBY TAYLOR • EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS
Bobby Taylor serves as the Executive Director of Communications. He is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies to help better serve the church and community. His team focuses on strategic communication via the website, social media, internal and external marketing, information technologies, and broadcast production. Prior to joining the communications team at Olive, he spent many years in the technology industry working with hundreds of churches across the country. Bobby and his wife have two daughters and four grandchildren. In his spare time, Bobby enjoys flying and scuba diving.
SHARON BARNES • DIRECTOR OF PRESCHOOL
Sharon Barnes serves as the Director of Preschool. Sharon loves leading the Preschool Ministry and watching the children have fun, seeing their excitement when learning about Jesus, and the impact their ministry has on the whole family. Sharon and her husband Travis have two boys, Garrett and Hudson. You will most likely find her spending her Saturday’s in the fall watching Auburn football.
DENNIS DEAN • MINISTER OF CHILDREN
Dennis Dean serves as our Minister of Children. Dennis and his wife, Becky have one daughter, Bethany. Outside of his main role as the Minister to Children, Dennis enjoys coaching his daughter's softball team, boating, golf, and watching football. He holds a degree from the University of South Alabama College of Business and Management and New Orleans Seminary Master of Divinity.
CARSON WINDLE • MIDDLE SCHOOL
Carson Windle serves as our Minister of Middle School. In his role, he works with middle school students to help foster growth during their 6th through 8th grade year. Carson and his wife Heather love being a part of a genuine church family who passionately love and serve the Lord. In his free time, Carson enjoys hunting, golfing, and reading. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry from Leavell College and a Master of Divinity with a specialization in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
CHRIS REESER • MINISTER OF HIGH SCHOOL
Chris Reeser serves as our Minister of High School. He helps lead, equip, and commission volunteers, parents, and students in the Gospel. His wife Kelly actively serves in the High School Ministry with him. Chris and Kelly have three children, Evangelina Grace, Elliot Christopher, and Everett Michael. In his free time, Chris enjoys being with his family, adventure races, and going to the beach. Originally from Pensacola, Chris received his B.S. in Business Administration from The University of West Florida and his M.A. in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
ETHAN JAGO • DIRECTOR OF COLLEGE
Ethan Jago serves as the Director of College and Young Professionals. Ethan and his wife live in Perdido Key with their three kids Kaiden, Sky, and Cora and together they own and operate Deeply Rooted Magazine. In his spare time, he enjoys surfing, fishing, jiu-jitsu, and spending time with his family. Prior to serving at Olive, Ethan served in the United States Air Force for 15 years as a S.E.R.E specialist. During that time, he earned an associate’s degree in Survival Instruction, bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University in Workforce Education, and an M.Div. in apologetics from Rawlings School of Divinity at Liberty University. Ethan is passionate about bringing young adults to a knowledge and understanding of who they are in Christ and developing them to be disciples and disciple makers.
ROBERT LLOYD • DIRECTOR OF SINGLE ADULTS
Robert Lloyd serves as our Director of Single Adults. In his role, he oversees the single adult ministries for those over 25, the Blended Families class, Single Mom's ministry, and Divorce Recovery ministry. In his spare time, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife, Judy and his beautiful family of five children, ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He also enjoys fishing, quail hunting, and almost anything outdoors. Before coming to Olive, Robert spent over 40 years in the aircraft and automotive repair fields. He first came to Olive in 1983 because of the single adult ministry and it became a vitally important part of his life.
KIM WATERS • DIRECTOR OF MATURE ADULTS
Kim Waters serves as our Director of Mature Adults. In her job, Kim assists those 60 years old and beyond in connection groups and activities. Her hobbies include stand up paddle boarding, quilting, scrapbooking, and spending time with her husband David. She believes Olive is a living organism which is God centralized.
JON DUBOIS • MINISTER OF PASTORAL MINISTRIES
Jon DuBois serves as our Minister of Pastoral Ministries. He oversees member assimilation, counseling, and hospital visitation. Jon loves the opportunities for influence and ministry in community at Olive, as well as Biblical teaching. He and his wife Beth have two children, Haley and Jared. In his spare time, Jon enjoys biking, running, UF Gators sports, and watching the Boston Red Sox. Originally from Tampa, Jon earned his B.A. from The University of South Florida and his Masters Religious Ed. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
BRANDON HENRY • COLLEGIATE SPORT LIASION
Brandon Henry serves as our Collegiate Sport Liaison. His mission is to encourage, equip and develop fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ through intentional evangelism and discipleship of coaches, student athletes, and athletic department staff on PSC and UWF campuses. Brandon loves being able to combine his passion for sports with ministry in his role. He and his wife Krista, along with their son John Luke, consider worshipping at Olive a tremendous blessing. You can normally find Brandon hunting, fishing, or being on the water in his time off. Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, Brandon received his Masters in Science in Exercise Physiology from The University of West Florida, he served as a teacher and coach at West Florida High School.
GLENN BEST • DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Glenn Best serves as our Director of Operations. He leads the facilities and housekeeping services at Olive’s multiple campuses. In addition, he also oversees and manages Olive’s serve teams. Glenn enjoys golfing, reading, playing with his dogs, and spending time with his wife Lyn and three children. After serving in the restaurant business for over thirty years, Glenn transitioned to working at Olive because of the same reason he attended as a member – because he can feel the presence of God working at Olive.
JAMIE EVANS • MINISTER OF WORSHIP AT WARRINGTON
Jamie Evans serves as our Minister of Worship at Warrington. Jamie and his wife Meg have one son, Caleb. You can normally find Jamie drinking a cup of coffee, running, biking, or spending time with his family. Jamie is thankful to serve under a pastor who loves his staff team and leads with integrity. He finds great joy in learning from a pastor who unashamedly preaches the Word of God. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Music from Union University, and a M.A. in Worship Studies: Leadership from Liberty University.
VICTOR ANDZULIS • DIRECTOR OF INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC
Dr. Victor Andzulis serves as Director of Instrumental Music and the Music Studios at Olive. He and his wife, Megan, have two children, Ethan and Evelyn. Dr. Andzulis previously served as pianist and music teacher at Olive before moving to Kentucky in 2016 to serve as Assistant Professor of Piano at the University of the Cumberlands. He and his family were thrilled to return to Pensacola and Olive in May of 2019. They believe that Olive is a truly special place with incredible people that God is using mightily, and they are thankful for the opportunity to be a part of what God is doing. Dr. Andzulis holds degrees in music from Pensacola Christian College and the University of South Alabama, and he holds the Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands. In his spare time, you’ll find him practicing, reading a book, or trying to learn to love running.
MIKE DIMICK • MINISTER OF MILITARY & PASTORAL CARE
Mike Dimick serves as Minster of Pastoral Care and Military. As a retired member of the USAF, Mike is knowledgeable and sensitive to the challenges that are unique to military families. He has a passion for Evangelism, Marriage and Parenting Enrichment, and Personal/Family Discipleship. Mike believes every aspect of Olive is geared for the purposes of knowing, showing, and growing in Christ in our personal lives and equipping others to grow and make disciples of Christ. In his down time, Mike enjoys all outdoor sports, home renovation, and community service projects. He and his wife, Maria have three children and nine grandchildren.
SAM SCHWANKE • DIRECTOR OF MISSIONS
Sam Schwanke serves as our Missions Director. He challenges our church to live a life committed to fulfilling the Great Commission. He would love to meet with you to give ideas on how you can share the Gospel both locally and internationally. Sam loves to spend all his time with his wife Emmilee. You can find them walking around town trying all the amazing Pensacola restaurants or biking over the Three-Mile Bridge. After completing college, God called Sam and Emmilee, based off of 1 Timothy 1:16-17, to join our staff to help us become a missionary sending church. Sam says, "I'm excited to see our Gospel-centered church reach every tribe, tongue, and nation for the cause of Christ. All for the Glory of God."
